Northumberland Youth Justice Service (YJS) is a multi-disciplinary?team?that works with young people (aged 0-17) and their families with the aim to prevent offending and reoffending. The YJS are part of Northumberland Adolescent Services and we are closely aligned with the leaving care, accommodation, substance misuse, participation and youth services.?
We?are?seeking?to appoint?an experienced,?enthusiastic?and committed?Restorative Justice Worker?with prior?experience?of direct work with children and?young?people in the?youth?justice system?to complement our existing staff?team.?You will need to be highly motivated and passionate about?supporting the victims of crime and working with young people and their families?in order to?prevent offending, reduce anti-social behaviour?and promote desistance.???
As well as being a key member of staff within the Youth Justice you will also be expected to support the wider duties of Northumberland Adolescent Service and work collaboratively with our partners across Northumberland. We are therefore looking for someone who?has a flexible and creative approach to their practice.?
