Ofsted inspected our residential provision in October 2019 and we are proud that it was graded as ‘Good’ in all areas. Ofsted stated that ‘The residential provision provides a nurturing environment which is preparing the children and young people with the skills they need for later life.’

We are searching for a caring, dynamic and self-motivated Residential Key Worker to be an active member of our residential staff team. You will be expected to provide a warm, caring, positive and stimulating environment for all children and young people. You will work alongside our whole school staff team to promote our school aims and values.

You will encourage the children and young people to thrive by investing time, listening, celebrating their individuality and achievements whilst supporting them systematically on their pathway to adulthood.

You should be capable of maintaining a high quality approach to the delivery of our 24-hour curriculum and individual care needs.

Previous experience in a similar education or social care setting and an NVQ level 3 qualification relating to children, young people / social care are an essential requirement for this role. The post is also subject to an enhanced criminal record / DBS check which will be carried out prior to the start of employment.

This is a permanent post for 28.5 hours per week, working afternoons/evenings
Mon-Thursday 2.45pm – 9.00pm, plus one overnight sleep-in per week. Sleep in allowance is applicable to this post.
