The Service
Northumberland County Council are looking for a skilled individual to assist in the delivery of our IT Support Desk, working within the first and second line teams. The role The role will be predominantly working within the IT Service desk, dealing with customer enquiries. Applicants should have experience within the IT sector preferably with some of that time spent in a service desk environment. The job involves working with multiple stakeholders across many sites and good customer service and communication skills are required. The successful candidate will join an established team within authority and will have access to colleagues who can assist where necessary. - A technical qualification or evidence of competency in IT
- Absorbs new technical information and applies it effectively
- A general standard of literacy and numeracy
- Actively undertaking ongoing continuous professional and personal development. - Competence in using Microsoft Office
- An active desire to provide effective customer centred services. -
Very effective IT skills and ability to understand and develop the use of IT to achieve work objectives.
- Numerate and able to analyse business related statistics.
