We are looking to secure 2 flexible and enthusiastic people to be part of Newcastle City Councils Road Safety Team as Road Safety Instructors.

You must be willing to work as part of a team delivering a range of road safety programmes to children and adults in Newcastle. The role requires you to have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach to work and enjoy working within schools and with members of the public.

The successful applicant should be able to drive and ride a bike with confidence and be willing to undergo further training as required. Ideally, you will be a Bikeability qualified instructor.

The post will be for 15 hours per week with hours annualised over the year. There is also a holiday and bank holiday entitlement. The delivery hours will be delivered throughout the year with the majority of time being committed during school term time. Further hours may be available depending on the needs of the service.
