Service Support Officer based at Alnwick (Permanent, Full time)

To assist the Highways Delivery team by noticing works, coordinating traffic management and road closures. Also responsible for monitoring of Drivers Hours and tachographs using dedicated software and carrying out briefings with employees regarding infringements.
Other duties include;
Responsibility for regular depot inspections, safety and tidiness of the depot, receiving deliveries from suppliers.
Liaise with Traffic Management, Streetworks, Design and Highways Management for surface dressing, micro surfacing programme, Maintenace and Construction Programme.
Download and provide utilities apparatus plans to teams prior to works.
Lead on Reactec HAVs Monitoring, update and debrief individuals.
Monitor the use of vehicles for servicing, repairs, hires, defect and logbooks.
Ordering PPE, Tools and Materials.
There may be requirement to visit operational sites and attend meetings at depots around the county. The postholder will be expected to undertake other duties and responsibilities relevant to the nature and level of the post.
