Newcastle City Council is seeking to appoint a fixed term for 12 month Housing Delivery Assistant to assist and support the Fairer Housing Unit in the delivery of housing projects as well as supporting the research and development of housing policy.
The post holder will also support the wider work of the Fairer Housing Unit and the delivery of its front line services including maintaining and monitoring of business processes and project management.
Previous experience in managing community consultations and engagement would be an advantage.
The role is challenging and varied and the post holder will need to be flexible and be able to prioritise a workload with conflicting deadlines.
