The role
The service attracts circa 5,500 planning applications per year and you will be the case officer for a wide variety of planning applications at house-holder and minor level, as well as other ancillary applications and pre-application enquiries.

We are looking to appoint 1 Planning Technician to join our Development Management service.

To qualify for this role, a sound knowledge of Development Management processes and procedures is preferable and a sound understanding of the diverse functions of a large complex public organisation. You will be expected to manage a large caseload and be part of the fast-pace day-to-day functions of the department.
