Job Overview
To be the first point of contact for members of the public and other agencies. To provide information, advice and support to service users, carers and families both verbally and in written format. To redirect the public to other services when appropriate. To interact and liaise with local agencies/providers. To manage risk, aggression, conflict and challenging behaviour appropriate to the grade consulting as required. To record work appropriately in accordance with statutory and Trust requirements and to use information technology appropriately.

Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Enquiry and Referral team based within Onecall at Foundry House. This is a varied role working within a fast paced environment and the successful applicant will be required to work with a number of teams within the front end services.
Please note that this vacancy will close once we receive a suitable number of applicants.

The primary function of the role is to take accurate and concise information for new referrals into Adult Services. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of professionals and members of the public. Good IT skills are also required.

The salary for this role is £22183 - £24491

Essential criteria;
- Good general education demonstrating numeracy and literacy
- Previous experience of working with the public
- Administrative experience
