The Service
The role will be based in the Housing Services repairs & maintenance stores team, at our Cowley Road depot in Blyth. Our stores team provide service to the repairs and maintenance, void properties and capital investment teams.

The role
We are looking for a conscientious and competent candidate to fill a vital role in our busy stores team. You will be working alongside our small team of fellow stores officers and reporting to the stores team leader. We are looking for a hard working individual with excellent communication skills and good skills in maths, English and IT literacy. The candidate should be able to meet the physical and mental demands of the busy role.

The main daily duties of the role will be to record and input data accurately in a timely and organised manner.

Ability to pick and issue materials to our extensive work force.

Check incoming materials into the warehouse and store safely in the correct locations. Placement of stock and non stock orders to procure materials in a timely manner.

Current Counterbalance Forklift truck operators qualification.

Health and safety focused approach to daily duties, including safe use of equipment and PPE provided.
