Music Partnership North are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative woodwind tutor for a fixed term of 1 year whilst the postholder is on maternity leave. The successful applicant will work with our existing team of instrumental tutors within Northumberland schools The work will mainly be based in Morpeth and the East of the county, although the successful applicant may be required on occasion to cover other work anywhere within the County.

Familiarity with the National Plan for Music Education and the role of Music Hubs in music education is desirable. Candidates should be able to show how this knowledge has been incorporated within their teaching practise.

You must have a minimum of grade 8 on your instrument and experience of teaching children and young adults from age 5-18 in both small group and large group settings. Due to the travel requirements of the post you will ideally have access to a car for which you will receive a mileage allowance.
