Further Information
Newcastle City Learning is looking to recruit an experienced tutor to train staff in the principles of quality assurance. Experience of delivering quality assurance qualifications to groups professional educators is essential. To apply you will need to hold teaching qualifications in addition to relevant professional experience.

We expect and support staff to set consistently high aspirations and expectations for themselves and learners.

It is expected all staff will embed wider skills including English, maths, ICT and digital skills, British Values, Safeguarding and PREVENT, equality and diversity to ensure that learners maximise their understanding and application within their working and personal lives.

Use of own vehicle, current valid driving license, or access to mobility transport and a willingness to travel are an advantage for this role.

We are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. This post is working in regulated activity. If you are successful we will undertake additional recruitment checks which will include a check to see if you have had any criminal convictions, a check of police information and we will check the barred list(s). It is a criminal offence for a barred individual to apply for a job in regulated activity.

As this post involves working with children, vulnerable adults or dealing with sensitive information, written references will be taken up and made available to interviewers before the final selection stage; even if you indicate otherwise.
