Newburn Manor Primary School (a one form entry school in the Outer West of Newcastle upon Tyne) is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and inspirational Intervention Teacher. The role will involve teaching and supporting children with a wide range of ability levels, delivering small group English and Maths support lessons across the primary age range.

The successful candidate will work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 from September 2022 to August 2023. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS.

The school is looking for someone who:
- Must hold a QTS or equivalent
- Has a kind, friendly personality with a sense of humour.
- Has the ability to inspire pupils
- Has excellent behaviour management skills

The Role:
- You will be teaching English and Maths to small groups of up to 6 children in your own dedicated room
- You will be required to plan, mark and assess work throughout the academic year
- Support and direct your groups with positive behaviour management
- Tailor tasks to the needs of the pupils.
