Then we want to hear from you. We are looking for permanent, time served, HGV Workshop Technicians to join our team.
You will work to achieve the efficient and effective maintenance of the Council's Fleet of Vehicles and plant equipment by preparing all vehicles to M.O.T and LGV testing station standards.
You will be fully conversant with the maintenance/diagnostics and repair of LGV "O" LICENCE vehicles (7.5t up to 26t), and be able to diagnose faults via road testing, visual inspections and computerised diagnostic software methods and any other method agreed by industrial standards. You must hold a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in subjects relevant to vehicle and plant maintenance and have an understanding of VOSA standards and maintenance requirements with respect to operator licensing.
