St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint a permanent classroom teacher to work initially with our Year 3 pupils. Our dedicated and passionate staff team works hard to provide a safe and stimulating environment where our children can feel secure and excited about learning. Our aim is to nurture the uniqueness of every child and respond to their individual strengths and needs. We aim to equip our children with the tools for future learning and the confidence to follow their dreams.

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is part of Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust which is one of four Trusts in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The Trust includes five Secondary and twenty five Primary Schools across South Tyneside, Sunderland and East Durham.

Interviews will be held on 15th December 2022.

Candidates are invited to visit the school during the week of wb 21st November.
Lesson observations will be held on wb 12th - 14th December.

The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory Enhanced DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of pre-employment checks. An online search will be completed for all shortlisted candidates.
