The Trustees invite a suitably qualified and experienced person to apply for the post of School Business Manager to join our Academy as soon as possible (negotiable with the successful candidate).

Are you looking for a new challenge? We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic School Business Manager who will lead our operational support team. This is a busy school with a dedicated administrative team, an experienced Site Manager and qualified Head Chef. We are looking for an individual who can work collaboratively to drive school improvement in all aspects of our operational service.

If successful, you will have the opportunity to join our team of Business Managers who are based in our other schools across the Trust. Working as part of this wider team, you will be able to contribute to the Trust and school based projects and work closely with the Executive Lead of Estates and Operations and Chief Finance Officer.

Thomas Walling Primary Academy

Thomas Walling Primary Academy, part of the Laidlaw Schools Trust, is a two-form entry school with 420 pupils on roll. We provide two part time Nursery classes and in addition, a very successful provision for 2 year olds. Our children are happy and motivated to learn and are supported by a very dedicated team of staff.

The successful candidate will join a successful MAT where all Academies support each other to the benefit of our pupils and their families. Our Academies also enjoy strong support from an experienced LST central team, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
