The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle has a growth plan for Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust to serve South Tyneside, Sunderland and East Durham, with a total of 34 schools in the Trust.

St James Catholic Primary School is a small and welcoming one form entry Primary School in Hebburn. We are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to join our school community. You will work closely alongside the Headteacher, Office Manager, Governors and Trust Central Team to shape and drive the vision of the school to achieve the best possible outcomes for pupils, parents, families and staff. Key responsibilities of this role will include routine general clerical, administrative and reception support to the Office Manager and Headteacher.

Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust safeguards and protects its students and staff by being committed to respond in accordance with South Tyneside Child Protection Procedures. Enhanced DBS checks are mandatory for all school staff.

Salary: RLW – £21,029 (whole time salary) £7,214 (pro-rata salary)
Start Date: Monday 9th January 2023
Contract: 15 hours per week, term time only, Permanent
Shift pattern: 8:30am – 11:30am Monday - Friday
