As our school continues to grow, we are looking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant to join our school family.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in the provision for children with additional needs (SEND).
We are looking for someone who:
· is committed to making a difference to the lives of children attending our school;
· is a highly effective teaching assistant with experience of working with children, preferably across the primary age range (Early Years, KS1 and KS2);
· has experience successfully supporting children with additional needs;
· is enthusiastic, highly motivated, energetic and creative;
· has high expectations of all pupils and believes that all children can achieve success;
· is flexible and resilient, and enjoys new challenges; · has the skills needed to work as part of a successful team;
· has effective organisational skills and the ability to use IT equipment to support their role;
· will be committed to supporting the schools’ ethos and reputation within the community.
This role will initially be 30 hours per week, term time + 5 days. This is a variable hours position (min. 6 – 31.25 hours max.).
This post is initially a one-year fixed-term post.
