St Cuthbert’s Catholic High School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Technician to support our successful specialised science department with the delivery of the science curriculum at all three key stages.

Applicants should be familiar with a wide range of school science apparatus across the curriculum. Being an experienced chemistry technician would be advantageous.

Duties will include the maintenance of apparatus, safe storage and handling of chemicals, managing stock levels, laboratory management and the preparation of practical equipment for lessons. The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic attitude and a natural ability to use their initiative in order to ensure that all pupils receive outstanding and inspirational educational experiences, which help them fulfil their potential. Above all, we are looking for someone who will help our boys become better men.
