The Governor Support Team in South Tyneside provides a service to schools and Academies in the borough, but also North Tyneside, Sunderland, Durham and Hartlepool.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Governance Manager who will lead a team of Governor Support Officers and provide a strategic role in ensuring high quality governance that effectively supports and challenges school leadership.
We are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated person who can lead with a professional manner and the effective communication skills to work closely with Head Teachers, Principals and Chairs. Sharing your expertise and sound independent judgement, you will make a major contribution to effective governance to schools and boards supported through our clerking and training Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
