Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums are looking to appoint enthusiastic educators to work within the Learning Teams at the Art Galleries (Laing and Shipley).

The Assistant Learning Officer will be involved in the development, delivery and evaluation of learning programmes focusing on Art.

The successful candidates will have a passion for museum learning and a talent for working creatively and imaginatively with a broad audience of visitors. You will have previous experience of delivering activities to primary and secondary school students and will be committed to learning in a museum setting. Experience of assisting with the development of online/ digital learning is also required.

A solid understanding of museum audiences and the wider cultural sector both regionally and nationally would be an advantage.
