We have an opportunity for a qualified Gas Service Engineer to join us within our busy District Heating team.
If you are self-motivated, time served and capable of working alone as well as part of a multi-skilled team this is an opportunity for you to commence a career within a Council you can be proud to work for.
You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of tacks including working on domestic and commercial systems within District Heating, domestic dwellings and residential homes.
Reporting to a Repairs & Construction Manager you will be expected to work on Domestic Gas Systems, hot and cold water Systems, pumps sets and servicing within Commercial Plantrooms. Opportunities to develop with training to gain qualifications in Commercial Gas Systems.
Maintenance to the Byker District Heating System which operates at medium pressure/temperature ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations, practices, and standards.
