Further Information
Newcastle is a great City, with a proud history. We never stand still. Our children, young people and families reflect the changing face of our communities, our vibrancy and diversity. We know that the last three years has been tough for many and that significant challenges remain. However, we are ambitious. As a city we are committed to making positive change with our children, young people and families doing things bigger and better than we ever have. To deliver these ambitions we need the best people on board.

About The Role
As the Coordinator of our ambitious Newcastle Youth Fund, you’ll play a vital role in building relationships with the youth sector, supporting the ambitions of young people and administering an exciting new and growing grant fund. Working as part of a small team of subject experts you will be at the centre of continually improving the administration, promotion and ultimately the growth of the Newcastle Youth Fund. The role will contribute to change and innovation across the council and the City.

About You
We are looking for the very best people. Getting it right means making a meaningful difference to the lives and experiences of young people whilst supporting the growth of the City’s youth sector. You will have previous experience of grant making as well as being an excellent communicator with strong influencing and negotiating skills. On a personal level, you’ll work with honesty and integrity and be committed to working with young people to help them make positive change in their communities.
