Newcastle Youth Justice Service is seeking to appoint two highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced individuals to work as part of the Youth Justice Turnaround programme. The Programme is based on the principles of Supporting Families and Early Help framework facilitating a whole family approach to crime prevention, where young people are on the cusp of entering the Youth Justice system and require early intervention to prevent escalation into statutory services.
The overall aim of the programme is to achieve positive outcomes for children and families with the goal of preventing them going on to offend by improving the socio-emotional, mental health and wellbeing of children, while building on multi agency service links to support them.
You will produce thorough assessments and implement multi-agency support plans using evidence-based interventions. The post holder must have case management and Lead Professional experience. Direct work with young people and a proven ability to achieve outcomes within a multi-agency context are essential.
This is a fixed term 2-year contract
