South Tyneside Council are excited to announce the newly developed Inclusion Service within the organisation. We are looking for a highly organised member of the team to provide a robust administrative service and clerical support to the Inclusion Service.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic to work as part of a team and has the proven ability to maintain records, prepare information for meetings and respond to queries in a timely manner.
Some of the responsibilities you will have as part of this role include but are not limited to:
• Assist in the organisation and provision of administrative support for the Inclusion Service and maintain office systems, diary management and room bookings.
• Receive emails and telephone calls for the Inclusion service members when they are out of the office, dealing with queries and relaying messages to staff as necessary.
• Operate relevant ICT software packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Support the Inclusion Service Lead in dealing promptly with complaints and FOI requests accurately.
