Here at South Tyneside we are looking to recruit an Assistant Team Manager for our Connected Care Team. Our Connected Care team is a small and specialised team that offers the opportunity to work with children and families to support the child or young person to stay within the family unit. As an Assistant Team Manager in the Connected Care Team, you will be supporting our Social Workers who are assessing Kinship carers and Special Guardians during care proceedings and offering ongoing support to approved Kinship carers and Special Guardians, including post permanence support.
The successful applicant will be responsible for a small caseload and will provide reflective supervision, support and be an excellent role model for our Social Workers.
You will be expected to deputise in the Practice Managers absence and support the Practice Manager during an exciting time of development around the offer to our Connected Carers.
