Due to the retirement of one of our long serving teachers, the Governing Board wish to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Early Years/Key Stage 1 class teacher to join our highly motivated staff team. We are looking for an outstanding practitioner, with experience of teaching within the Early Years/Key Stage 1, who can work closely with staff to provide high quality education for our children.

We are looking for a practitioner who has a passion for Early Years and Infant teaching, exciting ideas and the motivation to continually progress our vision for improvement. If you think this is you – we would love to hear from you!

The candidate should:

• Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Early Years/Key Stage 1 curriculum.

• Show a willingness to work effectively with colleagues as part of a team and parallel teacher to plan exciting and motivating learning opportunities and experiences.
• An excellent working knowledge of assessment and procedures to support progression of all pupils.
• The commitment to contribute to the values and ethos of the school and the wider community.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and understand the importance of working with families to enable the best outcomes for our children.
• A secure understanding of safeguarding.
