Are you passionate about delivering service transformation and being part of a team that identify trends and opportunities to improve performance? If so, we may have the exact opportunity you are looking for.

We have a vacancy to work within the Development Team at Tyne and Wear Pension Fund. Previous pensions experience is not essential, we welcome applicants from other sectors with a strong customer focus and passion for delivering new service initiatives and developments, and the ability to produce reports for operational and strategic purposes. You will be welcomed by a progressive team, we want you to achieve your potential with us.

The Fund has over 165,000 members and around 200 active employers, including the five Councils within the Tyne and Wear County area and Northumberland County Council.

You would be joining a team of around 60 staff, committed to delivering a high level of service to our members and other stakeholders. You will support Team Managers to achieve the aims and objectives of the Pensions Service and will develop strong, positive and productive working relationships with colleagues, external organisations and third-party suppliers. You will help drive forward best value and deliver excellent customer service as well as helping to ensure the Fund meets performance targets and deadlines.

We are constantly striving to improve and innovate and are committed to enhancing our performance by maximising the use of automation and digitisation. Like you, we are enthusiastic visionaries who are innovative and motivated by our shared our vision. We encourage productive, flexible working and we will provide you with the technology you need for hybrid working.
