The world of Technology Enabled Care is expanding every day with new technologies and digital solutions that can support people to remain safe and independent in their own homes.

We are looking for individuals enthusiastic about providing this type of support to residents of South Tyneside.

In this role you will work in a fast-paced environment working both within the alarm receiving centre, answering calls from people in times of crisis, and also in the community installing and servicing the equipment our assessment team has prescribed.

This service is 24/7, 365 days a year and is provided to such principles that meet TSA Quality Standards. This role requires that you work a pattern of early and late shifts covering 7 days. Early shifts are rota’d as 07:00 – 14:00 and Late shifts are rota’d at 14:00 – 21:00.

You will work within a supportive and proactive team of TEC professionals with an agreed goal of providing an effective and efficient Assistive Technology service. You will also be given full onsite training to allow you to complete your role competently. The role also opens up the prospect of additional learning, training and progression within South Tyneside Council.
