Required for September 2023

Hebburn Lakes Primary School is a two form entry primary school with a nursery and two specialist resource bases for children with social, emotional, mental health and behavioural difficulties which sits at the heart of its community. As a school we are committed to providing a school where children, parents and staff are valued and where we pride ourselves in our commitment to work, learn and achieve together, as we progress on our journey ‘to be the best we can be’.

We are looking for a teacher who has enthusiasm for teaching and learning, high expectations of children's achievements and behaviour and the ability to demonstrate the highest quality classroom practice.

You will provide support with the delivery of catch-up and intervention across the school.

We can offer you a welcoming and supportive place to work, hardworking children, a friendly and supportive staff and an opportunity to develop your teaching career.

ECT’s are welcome to apply.

South Tyneside Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre-employment checks.

In line with the guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education, schools may carry out an online search as part of their due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
