*This post attracts a Living Wage supplement and in addition to the hourly rate
the post will receive the Living Wage supplement to bring the hourly rate up to
a minimum of £10.885 an hour.

We are looking for, caring and committed individual to work as a lunchtime supervisor.

You will become part of our lunchtime team. You will be part of a team responsible for
the monitoring and interaction of play and safety of children during lunchtimes.

We are looking for someone passionate about helping children to build positive
relationships and demonstrate good behaviour so that the lunchtime experience is
enjoyable for everyone.

This is a very important and rewarding role. We need an enthusiastic and a highly
motivated person with excellent communication skills. You need clear strategies to
nurture and support pupils’ behaviour. You must have an excellent rapport with
children and high expectations of behaviour and safeguarding.

Duties include:

• ensuring the lunchtime environment is safe and secure
• helping younger children to eat and use good table manners
• supervising and interacting with pupils on the playground to promote positive play
• maintaining discipline according to school policy.

required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the Disclosure and
Barring Service and a range of other recruitment checks.
