Kyloe House Secure Children's Home 

 

Salary: £20565 - £20909 plus Market Force Allowance of £4375 per annum payable in addition to the basic salary. 

 

Enhancement paid between the hours of 8.00pm - 6.00am and weekends of £8891 - £9040 per annum, depending on hours worked.  These payments are additional to the basic salary. 

 

Job Location: Kyloe House, Stannington, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 6DE.

The role  

The young people at the Secure home range between 10 to 17-year-olds and come from across the country are likely to have experienced significant trauma, so working in the home can be tough. They are vulnerable and often arrive with a history of difficult and challenging behaviour.  Your personal qualities and life experience will help us create an environment of reflection, personal attention and specialist help. Your talents will help young people develop the values, skills, knowledge, self-control and direction that will enable them to return to the community in a more positive and purposeful way. 

 

You must have a good general education and be willing and able to undertake relevant training up to Diploma Level 3 for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.

Please note, if you require sponsorship to work in the UK, the position of Residential Support Worker does not meet the Home Office criteria for UK Visa Sponsorship. 

 

This role requires you to work to a night shift pattern which includes weekend shifts.
