  • Are you hardworking, reliable and trustworthy?
  • Can you work well individually and as part of a small team?
  • Are you able to build strong relationships with the whole school community?
  • Can you fully ‘buy into’ our school vision?

If so, you may be just the person to join our committed staff team as a cleaner at Amble Links First School.

We are seeking a suitable person to join our small cleaning team who take great pride in their work in keeping our school clean, tidy and always ready for the children to learn.

You will be expected to work from 3.30pm-5.30pm each week day during term time and the equivalent of 10 days during holidays.

You will be required, under the supervision and direction of the caretaker, to complete daily cleaning duties in all areas of the school as well as scheduled deep cleans during some school holidays. You will need to be flexible around the needs of the school and work well with children and members of staff at all levels. You will be able to meet the physical demands of the job and take part in relevant training when required.

We are a small school of around 130 pupils plus a 26 place nursery and a self-contained 12 place 2 year old provision running every morning during term time. We are situated right next to the beautiful Northumberland coastline in the ‘Friendliest Port’ of Amble.
