Could you make a real difference to a young person’s life?
Do you have a spare room in your home that you could use to support a young person on their journey to independence?
If so, Northumberland Adolescent Service would like to hear from you.
We are looking to recruit Supported Lodgings Providers, who are able to offer accommodation and support to a young person who has been cared for or who has presented as homeless and in need of support.
You will receive a weekly payment when a young person is in placement, and you will be supported with the supervision, training, guidance, and support to fulfil this role.?
It can be difficult to move on to independence at a young age and supported lodgings can be a stepping-stone. We want Supported Lodgings Providers to ensure the young people feel safe, secure, and settled; therefore, you will need to have the patience, enthusiasm, and willingness to prepare them to live independently, guiding them to acquire the necessary skills for their future.
This role is suitable for all adults who have a spare room within their home.
