Cramlington Village Primary School is looking to recruit a dedicated, caring and motivated Administrator to join our supportive team.

We are seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant to join our main office team. Reporting to the Office Manager, the post holder is responsible for providing a high-quality reception service to parents, students and other visitors, including completing ID and DBS checks. In addition, the postholder responds and directs calls via the school switchboard. The post also involves completion of general administrative tasks including photocopying, filing, typing, processing mail and preparing text messages to be sent to parents.

What we are looking for:
Previous reception and administrative experience would be an advantage, but is not essential, as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will have a warm, caring and friendly disposition.

 They will be responsible for running the front desk and be the first point of contact for our school community. In addition to reception duties, responsibilities will involve administrative tasks that relate to finance and attendance.

The candidate will work with the Office Manager and support the administration of the technology offer in school, managing the IT systems and coordinating this with appropriate external support.

You will be able to communicate well with a wide range of people, being able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, as the role will be dealing with parents, professionals and other visitors to school.
