St Cuthbert’s Catholic High School is seeking to appoint an approachable, caring, and well-organised Assistant Head of Year who has knowledge of school welfare/pastoral issues and who has a passion for supporting the social and emotional growth of pupils to enable them to achieve their full potential.
 
At St Cuthbert’s Assistant Heads of Year are an essential part of the school’s pastoral structures providing administrative and organisational support to the pastoral team. This is an ideal position for someone who is a team player, has a positive attitude and understands the importance of a highly effective and efficient pastoral system within a school.
 
The successful candidate will need to be able to show an unrelenting focus on doing what is in the best interests of every pupil, balancing excellent administrative and time-management skills with a focus on pastoral care. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their commitment to working as part of a highly successful team, the aim of which is to ensure that all pupils receive outstanding and inspirational educational experiences. Above all, we are looking for someone who will help our boys become better men.
