The Governors of the Federation of Longhorsley and Whalton C of E Schools are looking to recruit a highly motivated, organised and effective Administrator Assistant to join the Federation team.

As Church of England schools, the Christian ethos is central to the life of the school community. You will be employed by The Federation and will need to have your own transport. You may be asked to work at either school, although it will mainly be based at Whalton C of E Primary School.

Please note this is a Band 2 post.

The successful applicant will have: 

?Experience of general clerical/administrative/financial work
  •  Ability to use IT effectively – experience of updating websites and being familiar with social media would be advantageous
  •  Good keyboard skills and excellent knowledge of grammar
  •  Knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation
  •  Ability to relate to children and adults
  •  Ability to work as a member of a team and on their own
  •  Willingness to participate in training and development

      Be resourceful, energetic and enthusiastic and have a good sense        of humour 
      Be able to support the Christian ethos of our schools
      Be prepared to be involved in the wider life of the school

Please note this is a part- time post -20 hours on a permanent variable contract (no lower than 20 hours –varying up to 25 hours if needed) - 5 mornings a week 8.45 – 12.45
