An exciting opportunity has arisen for seven Joiners to join our Property Services Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking service that is committed to delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, capital investment and improvement works across our housing and property portfolio. We are looking for motivated, skilled and customer-focused Joiners who share our commitment to delivering high standards of workmanship and service excellence.
As a Joiner, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of joinery works across occupied and vacant properties, as well as supporting projects within both domestic and commercial settings throughout South Tyneside.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out joinery work associated with responsive repairs, planned maintenance, capital improvement programmes and empty property reinstatement.
- Undertaking a variety of first fix and second-fix joinery works to a high standard.
- Completing replacement, refurbishment and maintenance works within social housing properties and commercial buildings.
- Working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to meet service targets and customer expectations.
- Prioritising workloads effectively to ensure repairs and projects are completed safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety requirements, policies and procedures.
- Maintaining excellent standards of customer care when working within residents' homes and communities.
