Sunderland City Council are diversifying how they help and support people who become homeless. They have realigned their Housing Options Team to ensure the team is well placed to meet the needs of all people who are street homeless and those threatened with homelessness. They are working to tackle homelessness on all fronts to ensure that all move to and sustain independent living.

For many this journey is not a straight line, so the Council have increased the team and have added more diverse roles to ensure people are supported at every stage of their journey to a safe and secure home. They are hoping to recruit passionate and skilled people into several new varied posts and this is a great time to join a cohesive team who always support each other.
