South Tyneside Council have several exciting new roles available for their recently restructured SEND Assessment & Review Service

The Council are looking for passionate and highly motivated individuals who are committed to improving outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to join their dedicated and ambitious workforce.

The newly restructured SEND Assessment & Review Service is responsible for the statutory duties of assessment, monitoring and review of Education Health & Care Plans and all this entails. In addition to this, they also oversee the distribution of funding provided to settings for CYP without an EHCP.

The service plays a critical role in ensuring that children and young people with SEND in South Tyneside receive appropriate support and services to meet their unique learning needs so that they can learn grow and achieve.

You'll collaborate and liaise with young people, parents/carers, education, health, social care, and a wide range of service providers to support in the assessment, monitoring and review of children and young people with SEND.
