The Governing Body of Newport Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, resilient Headteacher, whose vision and leadership will lead this multi-cultural, inclusive school on its journey from ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Headteacher who:

• Has a proven track record that demonstrates strong, strategic leadership
• Is inspirational, progressive and forward thinking
• Has the ability to set high standards, aspirational and achievable targets with a vision to becoming “Outstanding”
• Will provide strong leadership to engage, motivate support and challenge staff
• Will support and challenge the Governing Body
• Will promote and uphold the important values of respect and equality within a nurturing environment
• Will contribute to the collaborative working relationship of all the schools in the Trust and across the town

• Will actively engage and support a diverse community

Our children would like a Headteacher who:
