The governors and the sponsor of the academy, Northern Education Trust, are now seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant, to provide high quality support to students, and assist teachers.

We are seeking to appoint an excellent practitioner with a passion for learning and developing a child's talents whilst meeting their needs through a range of strategies that can support their inclusion. Working within a team under the direction of our SENCO, the successful candidate will be energetic and determined, empathetic but assertive. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the use of ICT and practical activities to enhance learning and will be fully committed to helping students achieve high standards of academic success. The ideal candidate will also have experience in supporting in maths up to at least GCSE. Having A Level in maths would be an advantage.

In 2016 we achieved our best ever GCSE results. With our new state of the art academy building which opened earlier this year, this would be an exciting time to join our team.
