This is an average sized primary school which is rated as ‘Good’. Pupils are kind and considerate to each other, and very welcoming to visitors. Teachers’ high expectations and good behaviour management strategies have helped pupils to develop very positive attitudes to learning. Pupils know they are expected to keep going and support each other, and have learned that overcoming difficulties present no problems when they do this. Leadership, including governance, is ambitious and determined in its drive to improve the school further. To be successful in this role you must:

  • be a creative and pro-active Key Stage 2 practitioner
  • be able to demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development
  • have a strong commitment towards raising standards
  • consistently teach inspirational and varied lessons
  • hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
  • have recent knowledge/experience of teaching at Key Stage 2 within the UK National Curriculum.
