The Economic Growth and Development Services Division is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of services across the Borough including Highways, Transport and Design Services.
Reporting to the Principal Engineer (Transport Strategy), you will provide a key role in development and delivery of the Local Transport Strategy and Delivery Plan to support Economic Growth. This includes policies and strategies for sustainable transport modes, working at a Tees Valley level with the Tees Valley Combined Authority and delivering schemes on the ground.
Applicants should also be able to demonstrate a flexible and organised approach to their work and have good communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants should be experienced in providing technical advice including written reports in a transport or highway related area, as well as carrying out complex, technical or numerical tasks to a high standard and agreed deadlines and budget.
