Temporary contract for 18 months
We are looking for a qualified Technical Officer with the right skills and experience to join our busy Public Protection and Neighbourhoods’ Team.
We deal with the full range of private-sector housing issues including complaint investigation, nuisance, HMO and selective licensing and proactive inspections. We also investigate complaints of domestic noise and anti-social behaviour.
The workload will be varied and you will be required to meet targets and keep accurate inspection records. You must well organised, a good communicator, comfortable engaging with customers and stakeholders at all levels. You must be familiar with relevant legislation and have experience of enforcement work.
