The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide a totally integrated Benefits and Council Tax Service within the Revenues and Benefits Unit.
This includes dealing with all aspects of verification and assessment of claims for Housing Benefit, Local Council Tax Support and Free School Meals, responding to enquiries, and processing and input of data.
You must have:-
• Current or recent experience of working in a benefits related field
• 5 GCSE’s including Math’s and English or equivalent
• Experience of computer databases
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with people at all levels
• The ability to work accurately to deadlines
