Instructor - Multi Skills (Building Heroes Project)- Temp 31 July 2019
We have the opportunity to deliver an exciting project that is new to the North East. Building Heroes is a charity that aims to aid Military veterans to re-train preparing for a life outside of the military. This is an excellent course with which to be involved. The course is open to both veterans and those persons who are in resettlement.
The training involved is varied and covers all aspects of construction, with a Level 1 Diploma in Construction Skills qualification being achieved by the learners, along with the learners sitting the end exam Level 1 Health and Safety in the Construction Environment, before sitting the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card test.
The programme is to be delivered a 5-week intensive programme covering a foundation programme within construction, and Health, safety and welfare. The total hours delivered for the programme is approximately 200 hrs over the 5-week period. This is a roll on roll off programme.
The applicant must have a Multi skills construction background and also an assessors (A) Award qualification or equivalent.
