North Tyneside Council is seeking to appoint an experienced team manager for the Statutory Assessment and Review team with the vision, innovation and drive to fulfil the post.

The successful candidate must have experience of leadership and be an excellent practitioner with sound knowledge and understanding of national, regional and local initiatives affecting the development of SEND.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, including positive influencing skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting work priorities within tight timescales are paramount to the post.

The post holder will be expected to have thorough knowledge of the Ofsted local area SEND inspection framework.

The post holder will be based at the Langdale Centre, Wallsend and will travel to other locations across North Tyneside including schools to lead meetings and deliver support and advice.
