The Governors and Head of Centre are seeking to appoint a highly committed, enthusiastic, talented practitioner to support the teaching and learning at this award winning Nursery School and Children’s Centre. Our friendly and welcoming Centre offers seamless education, care and learning where there are high expectations and aspirations for raising children’s achievement. Early Years Practitioner (Full Time) All Year Round
Grade 2, LD3 (Points 15-17) £17972 to £18,672
37 hours per week (All Year Round). Post to commence 1st February 2019.
The post holder will work within the Early Years team to deliver the key principles of effective teaching, learning and welfare requirements across the Centre, so to improve outcomes for all children.
The position is to support and contribute to the teaching, learning and care of children from Birth to Five years, by outstanding Early Years practice, good organisational and interpersonal skills.
A minimum Early Years Level 3 qualification is required, together with 1 year’s relevant experience of working with young children. In line with the updated EYFS Statutory Framework a current Paediatric Firsts Aid Certificate, Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths are desirable requirements.
