Contract Details:
Permanent. To start as soon as possible.

Contract Hours:
Part time 18.5 hours a week, 43 weeks a year (term time plus 6 weeks) initially, although this could increase in either weeks or hours in due course. The working arrangements during the term and the school holidays would be determined and discussed with shortlisted candidates. The weeks worked during the school holidays will involve working weeks in the summer school holidays.

This post offers the opportunity for an enthusiastic individual seeking an HR Career to develop essential experience in a wide range of HR processes and transactions supporting the work of a busy HR function in a school. The successful applicant will have already commenced CIPD training and have at least one year's experience of working in HR, and will be seeking an opportunity to apply their learning in an organisational environment and gain the grounding experience so important to a career in HR.

Polam Hall School is a 4-19 co-educational day and boarding academy. We joined Woodard Academies Trust in 2017 and form part of the Trust's Northern Hub. This is a very exciting time at Polam Hall: the school has grown to its current 740 pupils over the last three years and will continue to expand until it reaches a roll of around 880.
