An exciting opportunity has developed within the SEND and VL Service for the position of Resource Manager. You will be joining a team who are enthusiastic, committed and passionate about meeting the needs of children and young people with SEND 0-25.
As Resource Manager you will lead on the financial delivery and development of high quality provision within settings for children and young people with special educational needs and those who are vulnerable including shared support services, high needs base provision, individual high needs contracts, high needs funding allocation to settings 0-25 and joint partnership funding arrangements between Education, Health and Social Care.
The successful candidate will oversee the development and management of High Needs Funding improvement programmes within both Children's services and to support the Directors in the development tof the council's wider corporate agenda.
Alongside this you will provide direction and support to other Service Managers in respect of the delivery of the highest quality services within the High Needs Funding allocation for children, young people with SEND and those who are Vulnerable and their families.
This post is part of the SEND and VL Management Team, reporting to the Head of SEND and VL and working closely with the Director of Education to ensure the Department's vision, goals and values are translated into action.
